Starting with Toni Maldonado, Certified Senior Advisor®, the Chief Executive and Administrator of DignityFirst Health at Home, our organization is one of the largest home health agencies serving the Greater Denver metro area. Our team has been serving adult clients of all age groups since 2011. We provide non-medical in-home care, from just a few hours a week, up to 24 hours a day. We offer affordable and high- quality in-home care for our clients, plus peace of mind for families.

Toni became involved in-home health care in 2011 with LivHOME, a home health agency franchise. In 2016 Toni branched out and rebranded the company.

Toni brings 40 plus years of healthcare support and senior-level management expertise along with her passion for client care and service excellence to the organization and her clients. to DignityFirst Health at Home.

 

 

 

Previously, Toni worked as a manager of medical staff services until she launched her privately owned clinical documentation company. In 2000, she sold her company to MedQuist, a leading provider of clinical documentation products and services. Toni ultimately served as the Senior Vice President of Operations and Customer Support Services, with responsibility for global service delivery, client care management, client- facing technical support, and implementations. In 2011, Toni decided to leverage her healthcare experience and passion for elder- and disabled client advocacy,  to begin providing home health services.

Toni works tirelessly to be an expert resource to the community, delivering high-quality compassionate care to clients and to those who are seeking guidance for community care.

Toni majored in business and accounting at New Mexico State University and is currently working on her Master’s in HealthCare Administration through Colorado State University. In her off time, Toni enjoys outdoor activities including snowmobiling, hiking, and camping with her family. She and her family also enjoy volunteering in the community.

ELIZABETH WEINHOLD, RN, BSN

NURSE CARE MANAGER

Lisa joined the organization in 2011 as a Geriatric Care Manager. As a registered nurse, she brings over 35 years of nursing to our organization. Lisa’s career thus far has allowed her to serve in the emergency room setting as well as geriatric care management, wound care, and hospice care. Lisa received her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Phoenix and has taught nursing at Metro State College in Denver, Colorado. In her capacity as a nurse educator, Lisa provided continuing education regarding age-specific needs, for the geriatric population.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her six children and their families. She enjoys relaxing
by creating jewelry made out of beads and wire. Lisa and her husband volunteer within her church and community. She also studies and works with essential oils as an alternative therapeutic solution.

ROSLYN PAINE, MSW, LCSW

SOCIAL WORK CARE MANAGER

Roslyn joined the organization in October 2013. She has twenty-two years of post-graduate experience, initially as a Medical Social Worker for Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, then later as a Geriatric Care Manager for a home health agency in Chicago. In 2007, she relocated to the East Coast and continued her career in Geriatric Care Management. In late 2012, Roslyn and her family moved to the greater Denver area where she has worked as a Care Manager and support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter.  She has also taught several classes in healthcare social work at Metropolitan State University of Denver and University of Denver.  

DAVID MARQUEZ, RN, BSN

NURSE CARE MANAGER

David is a former EMT/Paramedic and a retired Registered Nurse. David has spent over four decades both the pre-hospital and hospital arenas. As an Registered Nurse David specialized in Critical Care, Emergency and Flight medicine. As a flight nurse, David was appointed base educator, where he was responsible for the training of both current and new employees as well as presenting case studies and various classes to other flight team members in a four state area. During this time he became an International Trauma Life Support instructor. His skill set was in high demand which kept him traveling to seven different bases in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado to cover shifts or to fly with and evaluate new employees.

Once leaving the aeromedical world David served as charge nurse and unit educator in several Emergency Departments on the Western slope of Colorado. As charge nurse in the emergency departments David insured the smooth transition of patients from their admission to discharge or transfer. Often times this meant coordinating Critical Care transport with the ED physician or Trauma Surgeon as well as the charge nurse receiving the patient. During this period David became a Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and a Stop the Bleed instructor.

After retiring from clinical nursing, David continues to teach Basic Life Support and Stop the Bleed classes on a weekly basis. As an Ordained Chaplain he works in the corporate world ministering to workers in a variety of areas. He is also a volunteer Chaplain to First Responders in both Park and Jefferson Counties. David is also an active member of his church. During his off time he enjoys fly fishing, camping, working around their property, spending time with family and traveling with his wife Lisa.

BOBBY SILVA

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Bobby joined the company in 2013 as Support Services Manager and has since taken on an increasing amount of responsibility within the company; today being the Operations Manager. Bobby has shown immense dedication to DignityFirst and caregivers. Bobby has been educated as a backup agency manager and recently has obtained his credential as a Certified Senior Advisor® in order to further expand his knowledge and ability to serve the members of our community.

Bobby enjoys spending his time with his family in the beautiful mountains of Colorado and Wyoming; be it snowmobiling, kayaking, or exploring off road trails. Bobby greatly values his home-state of Colorado and takes genuine pride in serving our clients and caregivers.

NICHOLE SILVA

OFFICE MANAGER

Nichole joined the organization in 2020 as Community Relations and has since moved to be the Office Manager. Previously being an assistant manager, Nichole brings 8 years of management experience to DignityFirst. Nichole obtained her Associates in Medical Billing and Coding in 2024 and will continue to further her education in this ever growing field.

Nichole enjoys spending time with her family going camping, snowmobiling, sight seeing and many more outdoor activities. She likes to spend her free time at home with her daughter, husband and dogs. Nichole also uses her free time to relax by baking, one of her favorite things to bake is home made bread.

FRANK SILVA

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Frank Silva began his career in healthcare immediately following high school. He earned his EMT-B certificate at Red Rocks Community College and proceeded to work for Platte Canyon Fire Protection District where he was in integral part of the Fuels Crew. In 2016, he began working as a caregiver as it more suited his wife and three children’s needs. He futhered his skills and knowledge during this time, also acquiring his CSA certification in order to better serve DignityFirst clients. In the Spring if 2024 he was promoted to Business Development Manager, a role which he has truly thrived and worked hand in hand with the community to serve the elderly.

In Franks free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children aged 8, 4, and 3. He particularly enjoys spending time in the high country where he grew up, a place he calls ” God’s Country “. He takes a tremendous amount of pride in his career, family, and serving the elderly.
