Colorado Senior Law Day events are held annually around the state. These events offer resources and information for caregivers and older adults. The events feature a variety of exhibitors sharing their information along with small group sessions from attorneys and professionals on a variety of topics related to senior and aging issues. Some of the Senior Law Day events also offer free short private sessions with attorneys. In general topics covered at the events usually include:

  • Probate
  • Elder Law
  • Healthcare
  • Long Term Care

Another benefit of attending is getting “The Senior Law Handbook”. This reference guide contains Colorado legal information for aging adults and is a joint project of the Elder Law and Trust, and Estate Sections of the Colorado Bar Association. The book is also available online.
